Tiny Hearts
by Alicia Adams

Tiny Hearts, Alicia Adams, cover featuring a painting of a garden in a loosely impressionistic style with red flowers in the foreground and a grassy meadow and trees in the background.

Tiny Hearts is a collection of interconnected tales following the lives of “the folk.” Only a couple of inches tall, the folk live in walls, in trees, and underground, out of sight of neighboring humans. Join them as they help animals, make food, celebrate the seasons, and support one another.

These cozy fantasy stories explore community, quiet romance, and small adventures, where riding a bird or stealing a kiss are equally brave and equally wondrous.

About the Author

Alicia Adams lives in the forest with her spouse, young daughter, and cat. When she was working on her MFA, a professor told her that being a poet changes you; you start to become the kind of person who picks up worms after the rain and moves them to the edge of the road where they won't be squished by people who won't notice them. Alicia doesn’t write many poems anymore, but she still rescues worms after the rain. Her speculative fiction has been published in DreamForge, Abyss & Apex, Hearth Stories, and Luna Station Quarterly. You can read more of her work on her website: AliciaAdamsWriting.com
